Precocity Academy

Precocity Academy is an early childhood education program on a mission to infuse scientific thought by way of an engaging after-school activities. The current school system for early childhood education is found wanting with regard to engendering an immersive learning environment for young children. Further, dedicated and willing faculty and staff are often not incentivized within the traditional school system to contribute beyond the scope of routine coursework / responsibilities, which inherently is detrimental to fostering experiential learning in the sciences at an early age.  Therefore, in addition to serving the need to impart early science education to children, Precocity Academy aims to serve as a haven for the motivated childhood educator as well, by fueling their creative interaction in an after-school a deeply funded learning environment. Precocity aims to infuse scientific thought into early childhood education by way of engaging after-school academic program, focused on imparting concepts through experiential learning from scientific experiments and exercises, through which we foster:

• Creative ability and challenge students to become innovative and collaborative thinkers

• Cultivation of critical thinking with relevant, real-world problem solving scenarios

• Camaraderie and team-work skills through collaboration with peers

• Precocious learning, cognition and analytical ability through purposeful exercises which enable students to synthesize data and apply knowledge in non-obvious ways
